Tommy Harris
Tommy is the founder and director of Prolific Sports. Raised in Littleton, Colorado he attended Columbine High School before moving on to play baseball at the Colorado School of Mines. He was predominantly a second baseman and was a four year letter winner at CSM.
Following his playing career he began giving lessons at various facilities while coaching competitive baseball and softball teams. To make a greater impact in the area, he originally founded The Dugout and built the business over two years, leading to the expansion into Prolific Sports. His aim is to provide private instruction while also constructing a baseball and softball competitive program that will allow kids of all ages to participate at a high level.
Tommy predominantly works with advanced hitters in both baseball and softball. He utilizes Hittrax in all lessons to provide clarity to his athletes on the mechanical changes needed to continue their growth.
“Proper instruction is a vital piece to any youth player’s development. We want to utilize technology to help tie the science and art of this game together. If we can help athletes train properly, understand proper athletic movements, and understand why we do what we do they will continue to develop into outstanding athletes.”
Tanner Rogers
Tanner has been a clinic instructor with Prolific baseball since its inception, and we are excited to announce him as a part time instructor moving forward. Tanner is a Columbine High School graduate where he had many successes as a multi-sport athlete. While having tremendous success in football he always gravitated back to baseball where he garnered many honors in his four years, including Colorado Player of the Year in 2003. Following his senior season at Columbine he was drafted in the 8th round by the Florida Marlins as a catcher, where he spent 6 years playing for the organization, reaching the AA level before beginning the next phase of his life.
Following his minor league career Tanner stepped into coaching. He began his coaching journey as a volunteer coach for Metro State University, before leaving for stints at both Chaparral and Columbine High School. Tanner now is a coach in our youth baseball system, and is excited to join the Prolific Baseball instructor group. Tanner specializes in catching, hitting and infield instruction, but with his depth of experience he can help boys and girls in any facet of the game.
Tanner’s experience and love for the game brings an energetic presence to Prolific, and we are lucky to have him join the team.
